Review on VASAGLE Bookshelf Bookcase Adjustable Standing by Kim Adams

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The whole shelf fell apart, the top and bottom didn't fit well together.

Not a whole 5ft piece of wood on each side, but two sections on each side. Above and below are two small shelves that were meant to fit together, but they were too chunky and deformed to fit together. I followed the instructions exactly and checked the assembly. But it still wouldn't fit right. As a result, the top leaned forward and would not deploy as intended. After it completely fell apart at this point we put it back together and it took 3 people to do it. There was a gap in the back after that, and yet the cheap little back guide didn't fit all the way into the cutout (although I put it in correctly as directed!), protruded a good half inch from the top, and the inset points didn't work. It leans forward and we can't use the top shelves. Looks weird and cheap. The back part folds into three sections for both parts and is made out of some kind of thin cardboard. This whole bookshelf was a waste of money and assembly time. I regret the purchase. It was embarrassing to bring my family home and look awful in my daughter's room.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Disappear
