This set is pretty decent for the price. I'm deducting a star because the slippery plastic underside slides all over my desk. A few cheap rubber grommets would have prevented this problem. I actually like everything else about the keyboard. The paint is quite thin and I can definitely see the letters wearing off quickly. After a week this hasn't been a problem so far and it's great value at this price point. As for the mouse, it worked well but couldn't quite measure up to my Razer Death Adder so I gave it to my girlfriend. She really likes the mouse so I am returning the star that was deducted. Overall for a budget set this really exceeded my expectations and I solved the slipping problem by installing my own rubber pads.
