I am 5'6" and 245 pounds. I have straight hips but a wide waist. and some lmao loot. I wear 1x in Fashion Nova jeans and 2x in jeans. I say that to say that this skirt is oversized. I bought the XXL plus and could have gotten the XL plus for a tighter fit. But it's still very cute and I'll still wear it.
