The clock works great. Put it on your finger and wrist and it will read oxygen saturation and heart rate. The finger probe falls down and sounds an alarm. The heart rate increases (you can set limits) and this is alarming. The battery is low - this is an alarm. A drop in oxygen levels is fear. He seems to do whatever he needs to do. Very happy with it. The only downside, I have to charge my phone every night. If I try to do this every third night, the battery sometimes dies the next morning. I don't use computer functions, so I can't comment on that. (This device is not considered a "medical" device, so to my knowledge it is not recommended by the manufacturer for people with serious medical conditions.)
