Works well but may need help

No instructions included and this was my first LED project. I (with so-so old eyes) couldn't figure out how to open it. A few YouTube videos and I was ready to go. The problem was that they all arrived closed. Corrected. Then, as they were closed, the small contacts were pressed and the strip was not inserted. (Yes, I was under tabs). So each one had to be carefully lifted by a millimeter. Then they were fine.

Connectors are not tight

I would suggest just gritting your teeth and soldering, especially on 2-pin where you have a little more room. I thought I would save time by buying them but I ended up wasting more time because of them. The problem I've found is that after you finally slide the lightstrip under the connector's pins and close the plastic latch, the lightstrip can still slide out easily. I think it's because the plastic bar on the locking door isn't high enough to properly pinch the lightstrip and hold it in…

best connections in track lighting

Worked well for a first led strip project. These connectors were bought with this kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FLZJKWT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is for strip lights with only 1 color and therefore 2 wires then like RGB spotlights 4 wires. And that for a strip of light 10 mm wide. Some light strips are 8mm. You open the end cap, insert the cut end of the light strip under the electrodes, align black with "+" and red with "-" and snap it into place.

An exercise in desperation.

I had to replace two wires for my LED strip because the plug burned out and the third one as another reviewer said had to be shaken to turn it on because as another reviewer said clips didn't work always do what they are intended for. stay on track! This means that if you're not careful, your seedlings will decide they need to grow legs and find the sun themselves. Huge trouble. The reliability of these things is incidental at best. I'm glad I had six extras, otherwise I would have walked up…

I used an EvZ 10PCS LED 5050 Single Color Strip Light connector to install some LED strips under the counter and had only problems with it. The connectors do NOT "capture" the ribbons enough to maintain a good connection. Most have it, but some don't, and I don't like going into the kitchen, turning on the lights, then reaching under the top cabinets to push/wiggle the plug to get one or more strips to work. I have used similar plugs from another manufacturer (with different but compatible LED…

Just be a little careful and they will work just fine

I just used these to connect my ABelle plant LED strips which I cut into 4 foot strips to add to my existing grow light system to fit. They worked great for what I wanted to do with only one real problem. When opening one of the end locks (difficulty opening only the outside where the plug connections are) it cracked. I thought I wasn't strong enough to push him out, but he backed off. Luckily I had extra. Also, this was my first time working with these 5050 light bars, so I learned the wiring…

They would work great if

So I bought them to avoid soldering the connections to the LED strip behind the TV that had come loose from the controller box. The problem was that the light strip's contact points were slightly narrower than the points inside the mounting connectors. I may have chosen the wrong plug size. My light strip was a single color all-in-one Luminoodle pack with a remote control. The strip itself matched the clasp perfectly, only the hinges were broken .030-.040 in each direction to create a strong…

In general a very good product.

Works exactly as expected; however, two things should be noted: 1) the end connectors are very small and very difficult to open; that's good and bad. Bad because they are difficult to open, but good because once closed they cannot open themselves (unless they are reopened); and 2) I've had two that don't permanently stay on the copper pins of the LED strips, resulting in flickering light or unlit areas. I know that if I take them out and replace them (I've already done that) it will work, but…

Great connections! The best in track lighting

These LED strip connectors make installation easier. Soldering is the gold standard for any electrical connection, but the time and complexity of my build made me give it a try. and I'm glad I did. The installation was under my kitchen cabinets. I've had quotes from electricians and DIYers who wanted over $500 and a minimum of 3 days. You laugh?! It was enough for me to get to work. Numerous curves, obstacles and running wire to hide from view made the project uninteresting. Soldering would…
