They worked pretty well and are better than screwdrivers for putting small tires on small rims. I'm glad I have the 14 inch. I could imagine that it will be more difficult with shorter ones. The handles are made of rubber, easy to grip and feel very durable. No sign that it would turn or try to loosen. I only rated these 4 stars because I think they would work better if they had the extra "dog leg flex" in the spoons that I've seen on some pry bars. For a cheap tool that you need from time to time, they work well. The chrome finish seems good for smoothness to work the tire without damaging the tire. Let's see if it holds up the time thrown in the tool box. As you know the biggest problem when changing small tires on small rims is the struggle with the wheel. I found it very easy to wedge the wheel between a pair of 2x4s to hold it in place with my feet , while I worked the tire with these spoons.
