Almost, but no. on keyboard and mouse combos

First of all I have had an HTPC since the early 2000's and have owned and used over 15 different remote mice since then. and build quality. The buttons have a pleasant click. mouse page. To enable the mouse and right/left click (that's the main function) you have to switch between buttons that have nothing to do with the mouse function. It's uncomfortable and takes a lot of getting used to. The oversized navigation bar has a click island in the middle that makes access difficult. This giant directional pad also disables the mouse function when you're using it. So it's easier to click and drag the scroll bar down, rendering that huge bar unusable. It's just bad design, these buttons are related to each other, when will these designers get it right? keyboard side. The keyboard button on the screen shows how little confidence they have in their keyboard. Good luck trying to figure out how to dial numbers. And like I said, I've had so many of these remotes and they're like no other. It's not just an FN press. Maybe I had a bad device. Battery. I was amazed when the battery died after less than a week of use. I thought it might be the cheap brand of battery they sent but then I installed the energizers and again less than a week. With this remote, it kind of sealed me. Final Thoughts - I was thrilled to purchase this remote control for Windows. Most remote controls are designed to be as cheap as possible and geared towards setting up USB devices. There are few dedicated Windows remotes out there, this is one and I credit this company for making it. However, I would have given 1 star if they hadn't contributed to this clearly niche market. If there was any worthy competition in this market, this remote would be really bad. I'll come back to Android TV remotes because they work better for Windows than this 'Windows remote' for Windows. Hopefully Windows 11 will bring some competent designers to the market.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
