I have had this item for about 40 days now. I was really looking forward to the item and wanted to use it as soon as possible. I've made a few trips to test it, but for some reason I haven't had a chance to use it with my DSLR. I used it a few times with my phone to capture the time lapse. Suddenly, a few weeks ago, I discovered that the item had already cracked in one of the joints. And because of the cracking, the bullet just below him has come loose, and the tripod isn't that strong anymore. This is completely disappointing, unacceptable and a bad investment. Now I don't want to put my DSLR on this tripod because it might not hold it and could bang on the ground. The product that was sent to me was either defective from the start or the quality of the item in question is poor. I bought it after reading the reviews. While I noticed that some reviews had similar issues, I had a feeling these would be isolated cases. But it looks like I was wrong!
