Great upgrade from Hybrid Gorillapod.

I originally used the slightly smaller and more compact Hybrid Gorillapod for the Sony a6300. After 3 months the tripod finally broke and cracked. See the comparison of their sizes in the photo: on the left, of course, the SLR, and on the right, the hybrid. I can probably still use it as long as I'm just carrying it around and not trying to position the camera on anything with a tripod. But I'm glad I switched to this SLR Zoom model because it's a little more expensive but so solid and much…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • It makes me angry

This kid rocked my world until it collapsed.

This child shakes my world. It has the grip I need to get the shots I want and the strength to stand on its own long after my weary heart has given up. The hinge is smooth and stays where I put it, unlike my dog who doesn't bother me. UPDATE: After two months of light use, the second pivot point on one of the legs has snapped and is no longer supporting the weight, causing the tripod to now only function in "recumbent" or "rotation" mode and unable to stay upright. Initially I was very happy…

The tripod leg broke right after 2 uses with a cell phone!

I have had this item for about 40 days now. I was really looking forward to the item and wanted to use it as soon as possible. I've made a few trips to test it, but for some reason I haven't had a chance to use it with my DSLR. I used it a few times with my phone to capture the time lapse. Suddenly, a few weeks ago, I discovered that the item had already cracked in one of the joints. And because of the cracking, the bullet just below him has come loose, and the tripod isn't that strong anymore.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Clarity

Can this be fixed or done right!

I bought a Joby GorillaPod SLR Zoom a while ago. Where I kept a Ting in a gear bag for safekeeping and never used this $50 disappointment to date 12/10/2019. I know it's been a long time However, I shouldn't use this thing, it hasn't been in a hot car, it hasn't been handled in any way, unless you think you've used it maliciously :) How have I tried using the Gorilla Pod? good use? Day? I was sitting at my dining table with an iPad Pro 12.9 connected. My heart skipped a beat as my iPad crashed…

Great tripod for camera and photography

Great tripod for hiking and travel. Flexible legs allow you to capture almost any shot. I photographed the falls and curved them on a very curved rock. He kept it stable enough for very clean shots. I've used it for shots from 13 seconds to 2 or 3 seconds with great success. I think I did some very long exposures as well and it worked great. I will say I had to adjust the time delay or if you use the remote for about 5 seconds to let the camera settle down as my Nikon D7100 with an 18-200 lens…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Getting problems

The product worked great for 3-5 uses until the plastic cracked.

Okay, I've never left a review on Amazon and I didn't want to (I tried to contact you directly but Amazon couldn't click on the shop name) I wanted to solve the problem internally by mailing Message you, but since I couldn't, it's my only option. The product worked great for 3-5 uses until the plastic where the ball heads are fitted cracked. The plastic broke on the top and on several other legs of the gorillapod. I was wondering why it wasn't right when my camera was on it. My legs would give…
