Great tripod for camera and photography

Great tripod for hiking and travel. Flexible legs allow you to capture almost any shot. I photographed the falls and curved them on a very curved rock. He kept it stable enough for very clean shots. I've used it for shots from 13 seconds to 2 or 3 seconds with great success. I think I did some very long exposures as well and it worked great. I will say I had to adjust the time delay or if you use the remote for about 5 seconds to let the camera settle down as my Nikon D7100 with an 18-200 lens is quite heavy for this tripod. FYI, I always wear a camera strap around my neck in case it wants to fall into the water or off the cliff. Anyway, sometimes I need a higher tripod so I don't have to lie on the ground. I have two other tripods, one of which is quite portable (Manfrotto) but doesn't shrink that much when packed, but is very stable. I have a heavy tripod that is probably 25 years old and now I only use it occasionally. I have a heavy monopod that I have used for traveling and hiking. I used to use it to shoot cross-country competitions due to the very low light in the mornings. It's very functional when you move. This gorilla comes very close, but is much lighter. Twist your legs, focus, shoot.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Getting problems
