These towels are beautiful and lived up to the bill for me when they arrived. I liked the shade of blue. However, I ordered 3 of these kits so I spent quite a bit on them even though they are average road quality. I have big problems with them when it comes to washing them. I've been washing for over 50 years and I've never had this problem! First of all, I want to clarify that I do NOT use bleach. The first load of clothes I washed with it turned out to have white spots all over the body - the blue color on these spots completely disappeared. I used a plant based detergent and some fabric softener - nothing that should have caused this discoloration. I followed the label on the towels and used cold water and it didn't seem to make a difference. So I switched to another product, Tide with Honey and Almonds, which I've used before, which is also plant-based - none of these cleansers contain blue. My washing machine is a good washing machine that hasn't ruined any of our laundry yet - no towels, no whites, no continuous press, so no fault. The tag also won't let me use my towel cycle in the dryer because you need to 'tumble' on low heat - I've never heard of that with towels. These towels are defective - I'm very disappointed - as all the reviews I've read say not mentioning the problem i think it's my misfortune i chose the blue one soon all the towels i ordered will be covered with white stains but after what i spent i'm forced to use them to use - it taught me a valuable lesson not to buy towels through Revain. I've been buying towels for years and this has never happened to me. I believe there's no way they are quick to stain and have any flaws - every towel and every washcloth has white spots now I wash towels alone with nothing, lukewarm water - very disappointed and do not recommend - I now have 3 complete sets of towels with white There were stains all over the place - mine were blue mist - totally disappointed - obviously not colourfast - maybe there must be there were imperfections or defective fabric - I had never seen anything like it. Even cheaper towels keep their color!
