After my old Acer died, I decided it was time to upgrade to 1080P. But even for someone who has been working with computers for almost 25 years; Monitors are very difficult to buy. In fact, it took me 3 weeks to finally push a pair of these VX2452MHs in place of the equivalent low-response Asus, Acer, and BenQ gaming monitors. Let's get to the review, which will be brief, from a dual screen perspective and about 3 days of use. I'll try to answer the questions I originally asked myself as part of the screen review. Also, I don't use 2W speakers and immediately installed them on a dual screen stand, bypassing the non-adjustable tripod stands. So are they easy to set up? Quite simply, my displays are currently connected to my PC via DVI. , and the visual quality of these monitors is truly stunning right out of the box. Just to note that plugging in the cables can be a bit of a hassle as you have to *slightly* press down on the plastic backing to connect the connectors; So take your time with the external setup. Once turned on the screen turns on in 2 seconds and they are very bright so make sure you dim them a bit. What about dead pixels? I bought two screens and neither had dead pixels. This is a glossy screen. "No, the screen is also anti-glare. What about buttons and menus? The control buttons are located under the bottom right edge of the monitor and the menu is very functional, easy to read and all settings are adjustable, even the response. Time. That's good, but are they also suitable for computer games? To be honest, the screens are so good that you don't need to adjust anything other than brightness. If you switch to "Game Mode", the response time drops to 2ms and there is no ghosting in games like BF4, Terraria and Left 4 Dead 2 at 1080P/60Hz. I plan to try GTA V and Shadow of Mordor as soon as I get a chance to download them again, but I'm sure they will be even more amazing than before. My ultimate goal is to set up the screens manually, but that's not necessary at the moment. So you really like her? Yes they are excellent value for money. Outside of Black Friday, you won't find a better 24-inch TN LED panel at this price. In my opinion, ViewSonic did a great job of ensuring these killer screens are worth the price. However, keep in mind that these are GAMING monitors, so people who want to buy them for web design, video editing, and Photoshop might have a different opinion. I suspect a lot of the lower star ratings don't apply to games.
