The system was easy to put together. An hour later, water began to flow under the sink. It turned out that the plastic on/off valve on the water tank was not a "ball valve" as described, but a cheap low pressure fitting that was not suitable for this application. It retracts and extends easily so it just pops out when pressure builds (shown with gray cap). It's good that we were at home, otherwise there would have been serious damage. UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer iSpring (123filter.com) about this and they immediately sent me the right replacement part free of charge. The valve mechanism of the new fitting easily withstands the pressure for a week. Make sure your device comes with a BLUE memory cover (pictured) and not a gray one. If yours is grey, email iSpring and request a replacement.
