I used them for soccer practice. They're nice and thick, but I didn't overheat. They fit my size very well, they are SUPER soft and stretchy. If you are looking for a pair of socks for soccer, sports or training I would definitely recommend these. Make sure your shoes match the thick socks as the stitch is double the size of the calf fabric. But in general I liked the socks. PS The socks arrived in 1 day, so that's cool!
