These merino wool leggings are the nicest I've worn in a long time and I have SmartWool, Icebreaker, Patagonia. It's so great to have another company in the game. I wear merino wool on top or on my legs every day for 9 months of the year. They are high waisted for me. Higher than in the photo. It's awesome. They have a small cuff at the ankle which is designed to prevent that area from bagging which is common with merino wool over time. I washed them on the gentle cycle and disposed of them on a line instead of drying them. Excellent performance in the wash. I will buy another pair as soon as two of my Smartwools have holes or dents (over ten years old). I wear them over yoga pants. The size is correct. If I were to wear it as a layer next to the skin I would wear a very small one. I'm 5'4" 120.
