Review on 🏍️ Shubandit Shifter Skinz: Ultimate Motorcycle Gear Shifter Protection - Shoe Boot Cover with Scuff Mark Protector by Mack Douglas

This is meant to be a cover to protect the top of your boot/shoe from wear and tear when upshifting. The problem is that the 2 elastic straps that wrap around the bottom of your boot have round plastic covers (like a hard plastic tube) to protect them from wear and tear (I think). The first problem is that you now have round, slippery tubes under your foot trying to hold a 700-pound bike. Really bad idea! The second problem is that it increases the height of your boot. Because of the extra height, my boot no longer fits under the shifter like it should. The third problem is that the round plastic tube under your boot interferes with downshifts if it hits the shift pedal at an awkward angle and slips off. that's why I miss layers. I removed the tubes which work much better but I'm not sure how long the elastics will last under my boots without protection. All in all a good idea, but very poor execution.
