I've bought them three times over the years. But .

I have bought them 3 times over the years. But the last version I bought a few months ago was altered and the protective tube on the inner elastic comes loose at the seam. I don't even walk around in it, but I take it off as soon as I get off the bike. Very disappointing. The two I had before were of higher quality and lasted every few years if not longer.

lower rollers. Unsafe

It's downright dangerous. Have you ever tried putting your foot on the ground only to find the ground is slippery? Your balance, the cylindrical rubber begins to roll underneath. You must plan your stops so that you do not rely on traction. Make an emergency stop/footrest.

Product is OK for protective gear

This product is OK. Not great, just good. I tried this product and its concept is good. However, it is quite difficult to get it in the right place where your switch was. I put it on my white Air Jordans and came home in black sneakers. The product works but you have to keep checking that the sneakers aren't bouncing. It even comes with a loop strap to attach it to a specific lanyard, but it still goes to the top. Also, every time you take it off, you have to find the perfect spot when you put…

Works well for Boat

This switch skin works well. I've used it with different types of shoes from sneakers to work shoes to dress shoes and it works great. My few unneeded comments are that the logo area is angled so it sometimes takes multiple attempts to attach the velcro while keeping the logo straight in relation to the skin profile. Another comment is that the section that goes under the shoe is made out of 2 pieces of hard plastic. So if you choose to stop your skin when you stop short, every step you take on

Great! worth every penny.

Bought so I wouldn't ruin my shoes on the way to work. I was hesitant at first due to reviews saying it was slippery and ineffective, but I'm glad I bought it. I agree that the bottom plastic is a bit slippery, but an easy fix to this problem is to drag your left foot along the pavement and let the plastic scratch a bit. I'm talking about a red light about 100 feet away. Do this 3 or 4 times and the problem is solved! It's also quick on and off, making it easy to put on and take off. It…

Fits great easy to use

I'm in the military and tired of ruining my boots with a nasty shifter stain. So I bought this product to fix this problem. The product works as advertised but I doubt how long it will last. The photos I've uploaded show the damage he's already received from just a few rides and I wonder if he'll last the full riding season. The first thing that worries me is the velcro attached to the side panel of the product. It has no backing and it started to crumble from the first wear. Second, this is…

Poor Design Flaws - Protective Gear

This is meant to be a cover to protect the top of your boot/shoe from wear and tear when upshifting. The problem is that the 2 elastic straps that wrap around the bottom of your boot have round plastic covers (like a hard plastic tube) to protect them from wear and tear (I think). The first problem is that you now have round, slippery tubes under your foot trying to hold a 700-pound bike. Really bad idea! The second problem is that it increases the height of your boot. Because of the extra…

never mind . protects your shoes, but .

I love this product but at the same time I don't, so let me explain. The product should protect your shoes (tennis, casual or otherwise) from stains and scratches, a typical motorcycle problem when shifting gears. If you judge a product on that alone, it works well. The only constructive feedback I have on this is that depending on the size it tends to rise (or get closer to your body) so it's not always in the right place. I have shoe size 9 and my bike is sporty. When I wear this shoe…
