I have bought them 3 times over the years. But the last version I bought a few months ago was altered and the protective tube on the inner elastic comes loose at the seam. This switch skin works well. I've used it with different types of shoes from sneakers to work shoes to dress shoes and it works great. This is meant to be a cover to protect the top of your boot/shoe from wear and tear when upshifting. The problem is that the 2 elastic straps that wrap around the bottom of your boot have round plastic covers (like a hard plastic tube) to protect them from wear and tear (I think).
