Review on 🏍️ Shubandit Shifter Skinz: Ultimate Motorcycle Gear Shifter Protection - Shoe Boot Cover with Scuff Mark Protector by Alex Tinker

never mind . protects your shoes, but .

I love this product but at the same time I don't, so let me explain. The product should protect your shoes (tennis, casual or otherwise) from stains and scratches, a typical motorcycle problem when shifting gears. If you judge a product on that alone, it works well. The only constructive feedback I have on this is that depending on the size it tends to rise (or get closer to your body) so it's not always in the right place. I have shoe size 9 and my bike is sporty. When I wear this shoe protector it seems to go higher and higher and does not fully cover the center front of my shoes/feet. But I don't see any scratches on my shoes so I still think they protect somehow. The floor is made of plastic. Yes, a bit slippery, but not critical in my opinion. However, if it rains, it will rain, or it rained the day before, I wouldn't wear it, but put on my normal boots instead; In fact, all riders should wear this at some point, but this product should be better if they can swap out the bottom for something with more grip. I would also take two sizes instead of one to better fit different shoe sizes. But that's not a big problem either. In my case I take it off when I park my bike and use the toe of my left boot when I stop the bike at traffic lights for example. I admit this is not the most secure or MSF way. If you always wear casual shoes or tennis shoes when riding, take this one. But keep these two main issues in mind. As always, it's better and safer to wear boots that aren't "cool" and not as comfortable, but they protect your feet much better.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
