I used this foot to make a tree for my advent calendar. I have an old brother's low shank machine. It's just super easy to install. This worked great for the first two parts of the Christmas tree. Then suddenly it started to fail and broke my needles in half. I mean lots of needles. I ran maybe six and finished my tree. I switched to a different foot for my brother's machine and stopped clicking the needles. I don't know what the hell happened. Tried removing the stuffing, changing the needle, checking the sewing machine for stuck junk, re-tightening the machine, etc. etc. Saved. Binding. needles.
