This product works very well if you really plug it in right. At the same time, the keyboard was quite easy to connect. The mouse was a bit more difficult and took longer, which was a bit annoying. My best troubleshooting advice is to connect a mouse first. Usually it works from the 1st or 2nd time when I connect the keyboard for the last time. Design-wise, the keys feel a little cheap and the overall material is really cheap compared to an Apple keyboard; However, it works well no matter what. The keys are fairly responsive, but they can turn yellow like any other white key, so try to keep them out of direct sunlight. The mouse seems pretty nice, but again feels like cheap stuff. It moves pretty well once you plug it in. There are no DPI changes, but it works well for general and everyday use. You can connect to NEW iPads and must be running version 13.0 or later. I've tried this with other iPads and the keyboard actually works but the mouse doesn't. If you're using a Mac, this might be a good replacement for a Mac keyboard, but then again, you definitely won't get the same quality. It runs on batteries but I wish it had the same batteries. The mouse requires one AA battery and the keyboard requires two AAA batteries. I would prefer if they are similar as I don't have to buy two different types of batteries to use this device (batteries not included). Personally, I used my own batteries so I don't have to constantly buy new batteries. I would say that though this device goes to sleep. probably my battery will discharge after about a few days. While they can last for weeks, I believe my batteries are getting old and don't hold a good charge, but what to look out for when using rechargeable batteries. The product can travel about 10 feet before experiencing connectivity issues, so keep that in mind. Overall I think this product performs quite well for the price and I would say it's nice if you're on a budget. It's great for Mac and iPad. Technically, you could also use it with your iPhone if you wanted. I tried it and it was strange for me. The downside is that the material is cheaper (but good for the budget). I also wish you had a built in battery or at least the batteries that come with it and the same battery not one AAA and another AA.
