These bulbs are perfect to replace the 1142 bulbs I replaced in my RV. They radiate evenly in all directions and beyond the edge with no light or dark areas. Your overall construction appears to be of good quality. Their color is slightly cooler (whiter) than the replaced incandescent bulbs, but still has much more "warmth" than many of the replacement LED bulbs on the market. Their color is closer to the yellow spectrum than blue or bright white. Their light output, or lumens, is slightly higher than the original bulbs, perfect for the reading lamps they replaced.
