Review on Podoy Ceiling Capacitor CBB61 250VAC by Inyong Dow

My daughter's ceiling fan stopped working but was making a weird whirring noise and my wife just wanted to buy a brand new ceiling fan. I said "let's see if I can fix it first" and removed the lamp to see the capacitor was completely destroyed. I'm very glad (and surprised) that this didn't start a house fire. Not wanting to spend a few hundred dollars on a new ceiling fan, I stuck the part number (whatever I could make of it) into the Revain and it immediately popped out. I'm not an electrician but I can splice wires so I ordered and in a few days my daughter's ceiling fan is as good as new. And I have a backup in case the other fans die (probably because they are all the same age). Overall I am very pleased that I was able to fix my ceiling fan in 15 minutes for $10 instead of $200. Took an hour for a complete replacement.
