Podoy Ceiling Capacitor CBB61 250VAC Review

We have two Harbor Bay outdoor fans. One worked "excellently”, the other – not at all. We ordered two packs and thought it would be great to have a spare. The fan we overhauled works much better than the one we thought was perfect and now we have to overhaul the "perfect" one. This is normal as installation is fairly easy and we saved $200 on fan replacement.

I realized (too late) that I needed a whole house surge protector to protect things like the capacitors in my ceiling fans. This is a perfect fit and easy replacement for my ceiling fans. I'm glad I found her. How did I know my ceiling fan capacitors had failed? Simple, fan speed. We lost the high fan speed. Replacing the capacitors solved my problem without replacing the ceiling fan.

We had 2 Harbor Breeze fans outdoors, one barely moving, the other not working at all. This repair cost me $10 compared to buying two fans for $129 each. Beyond is thrilled that it worked. I saved $260. I turned off the switch, cut the existing wires and remembered where the 2 gray wires connected to the existing wiring. Plugged the ends and assembled the fan. Using double sided tape to hold the capacitor in place will help with reassembly if you are doing it yourself. Easy to fix.

My daughter's ceiling fan stopped working but was making a weird whirring noise and my wife just wanted to buy a brand new ceiling fan. Problem: One of the fans outside of Hampton Bay was only running at medium speed. Research: After researching the Internet, many YouTubers have suspected that the low speed is due to the capacitor. I opened the fan and found the condenser; found the part number; and ordered the part through Revain. I noticed the colored wires on the old capacitor and was able to find a match. My Hampton Bay ceiling fan only started to run at high speed instead of 3 speeds. I first replaced the 3 speed derailleur but no change. (This has fixed my other fan in the past.) I've read that if the condenser was the problem, it would be obvious from the deformed shape, but mine above looked fine after installation.
