Review on Podoy Ceiling Capacitor CBB61 250VAC by Ronnie Segobiano

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For Harbor Bay ceiling fans, this condenser is perfect!

Problem: One of the fans outside of Hampton Bay was only running at medium speed. Research: After researching the Internet, many YouTubers have suspected that the low speed is due to the capacitor. I opened the fan and found the condenser; found the part number; and ordered the part through Revain. I noticed the colored wires on the old capacitor and was able to find a match. I ordered a Prime eligible part and received it within 2 days. Installation: only took 10 minutes. The insured circuit of the fan has been disconnected. Open the bottom cover; unscrewed the wire nuts; removes the old capacitor; Align the colored wires and connect the new capacitor. Close the fan and turn on the circuit. The fan is now fully functional. A NEW Hampton Bay fan would be $99 and a condenser would be less than $10 for two condensers. The capacitor was durable; had wires of different colors (facilitating integration); and had a legible label with a unique part number and electrical specs.
