This blanket is good. A little prickly, but appears to be of good quality. Bright, beautiful colors and good size. Suitable for sitting outside in a hammock to relax. I've washed it twice and it's still ok, that's all. (I was hoping for it to soften up a bit and not be as scratchy. I didn't tumble dry it.) I would recommend it to anyone who has experience with this material and loves these blankets, but not those with sensory issues. The thickness I would say is what the average person would use for simply lounging outside on a cold morning or a blanket/jacket on a fall evening. Something to keep you warm and cold but not toasty. :) (Honestly the thickness and texture kind of reminded me of my grandma's old kitchen rugs. Lol. Another person said it looks like a saddle pad. But it's good and definitely suitable for outside.)
