I bought XL here because XL men's clothes usually give me plenty of room to wash and dry without too much shrinkage. Having never bought this brand before, I washed it in cold water and lined it to dry - the heat has never bothered this shirt! He not only lost a little weight in the chest, but also significantly decreased in length. I had extra room on my chest before washing, and it was enough to cover my butt. After that, it hugs my chest a bit and only reaches halfway up my buttocks. I would recommend ordering at least 2 sizes up if you want to leave some room after washing.
