The kids screwed up my tablet's charging port. FAIL! So I googled to see how difficult it would be to fix it and possibly fixed it myself. Glad I watched some videos as the only way to get the replacement part is to remove the silver ring around the screen from the FRONT! I used dental floss (just be careful in the connector area as you may damage the other cable that is next to the charging connector cable inside the device. Removing the back panel does not give you full access so don't waste time. It It's quite difficult to remove the silver ring around the corners, but the good news is YOU CAN DO IT!The old connector and cable is easy to unplug and the new one is easy to install.After you put it back together and charge it , the kids are back in business and the tablet is working great.
