perfect gift for a 9 year old boy who is going to be baptized wanted to. He loved it. The package was VERY tightly wrapped, many layers. I started unfolding it, but decided that the young man would like the process of opening all the layers. Too bad I didn't unroll it fully before giving it to him as it looked very tarnished when it finally got to the compass. It was a disappointment but the gift fit the occasion. The verse was also perfect since his name was Joshua.
