Review on ๐ก๏ธ Thermostat Housing Assembly Kit with Sensor Replacement for 2007-2013 Mini Cooper by James Bartels
Part defective 3 weeks after installation.
After installing this new thermostat housing in my 2010 Mini Cooper and running it normally for about 3 weeks, overheating problems started. As I began to remove the faulty assembly, one of the pieces of hard plastic tubing deteriorated and broke off in my hand as I pulled the assembly off the 3 bolts from the motor. I replaced this thermostat housing assembly with a new and much more expensive STANT 49412 thermostat housing assembly and it works perfectly with no overheating issues.
