My mother-in-law was visiting her sister in North Carolina about a year ago and found out from her son-in-law that he plays solitaire to keep his mind sharp. My mother-in-law returned to Texas as a convert. She started playing solitaire every day. Born a Baptist, she was taught that cards come from the devil, and when she saw her son-in-law play cards without going to hell, she was convinced it might be a good idea. She had some trouble shuffling the cards and came up with a card sorting strategy that she felt made a good combination of cards. When I gave her a shuffler she started using it and has used it many times. She's playing more games, and her naughty, aching hands aren't stopping her from keeping her mind sharp - her goal, after all. This device is not difficult to use at all. Split the deck, place half of the deck on each input tray and press the button and in a few seconds the cards will be well shuffled. That's what I want from a product: something that delivers what it promises without a lot of learning and intermediate steps. Easy.
