Review on Ultimate Comfort and Style: Alpine Swiss Sandals for Athletic Outdoor Activities by Brian Micheals

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I have a wide foot and they work well.

1. These boots have one major drawback - their thread design. The tread pattern provides aggressive traction, which can cause problems when driving on carpeted floors. The reason is that an aggressive design grabs and holds and then misunderstands you. This is especially true if you shuffle your feet at all. At my age, I tend to shuffle more than I lift, and this led to a few moments where I almost tripped walking from the hardwood floor onto the carpet. Something to be aware of. A diamond or square profile is not suitable for this.2. In general the fit is good, the straps are adjustable. If you have limited back movement, correcting this can be a problem, but it can be done.3. There's some arch support, but not much. I would recommend this shoe if you are conscious of aggressive traction.

Pros
  • Reliable and Trusted Brand
Cons
  • Sandals can have an uncomfortable toe.
