I love mascara, I have dozens of types and brands. I'm looking for ones that give me more length and volume, don't clump or flake, and I want them to lift my straight lashes. I know that a mascara can ask for a lot. This Lash Affair Eyelash Extension Safe High Definition Mascara doesn't fit many of the bill. This is a small tube with a short wand, but the brush is full size. It's deeply pigmented but doesn't give my lashes the length I want, or any length at all. It doesn't give me much volume either. It's not lumpy, which is good, and it's just a little flaky. I applied three coats and still didn't get the mascara length I wanted. This is a good mascara for those of you who love the natural look of their lashes or who already have long lashes and want to darken them a bit and lengthen them. . I have short straight lashes so I need to look for a mascara that can greatly lengthen my lashes without looking like cobwebs or clumps. This one is average in my opinion. Pharmacy mascara works better than this for me in terms of lengthening despite being transparent and non-clumping. Suitable for a natural, clean look.
