For instructions on how to turn on these headphones, see the Safety Information section at the end of this guide. At first I thought I had received a defective pair as they would not connect to my phone. As I was about to email Vinlley Customer Service at the address on the box sticker, I noticed the safety instructions at the end of the manual. The first instruction was to remove the tap covering the charging ports on the headphones. I didn't even realize they had a small piece of tape on them. Shouldn't this instruction be at the front of the instructions for use and not at the back as a safety warning? When I think of safety advice, I expect precautions like "don't turn on the headphones too loud, it can damage your hearing". Once charged, I expected to take the earbuds out of the case and connect them together. That didn't happen. Although I followed the pairing procedures for Method 1 and Method 2 in the FAQ section, I could not get them to pair with each other. The left earbud spoke of pairing and turned off after a minute without pairing. The right earbud was paired with my phone named "V1" and playing music from my Revain music app. After much frustration I contacted Vinlley support. They responded within 24 hours asking for order information and a video of the problem. They then asked for my mailing address to replace the broken headphones. The new pair arrived in about a week. The new earbuds worked well and synced to each other and my phone as advertised. The earbuds sit snugly in my ears with the included medium earcups and stay in place as I walk. The sound was tinny compared to the orchestral sound, but okay for practice. The charging case is a bit large, but I like the charge indicators on the lid that show the charging status and the charging status of the case and headphones. Vinlley customer service was responsive and did whatever was necessary to replace the product. I love these headphones and can live with the tinny sound when working out as they fit so well in my ears and stay in place. My only complaint is that the headphone button lacks a tactile feel. It feels impossible to determine if the middle button has been pressed. The only way to know for sure it's been pressed is to hear a voice response. After initial pairing issues, the earbuds now pair with each other and my phone with no problems. Now everything is in order. Update 10/30/20: These headphones will no longer turn on or pair with my mobile phone. Tried charging the charging box, tried putting the earbuds in the box and then taking them out as the manufacturer recommends for forced pairing, nothing. The left earbud won't turn on and the right earbud will stop syncing. The quality of these headphones is poor and I cannot recommend them more.
