I was hoping that with the many sequins on the seams of the uniform it would not look cheap and would look forever. I was happy to see that they were decent quality for the price. I think they will wear well and last quite a while. Affordable price, variety of sizes and colors make this model a great gift idea and it matches most fabrics. It leaves puncture marks in tightly woven fabrics. I crochet and knit and with a shawl it is ideal to use one of these to keep the shawl in place throughout the day. I used to use an old fashioned cloth hoe in the form of pins with a chain that held the cloth in place but open. I love that they keep the scarf closed and there isn't a little chain I'm afraid of breaking or letting it wander back up my neck. For any knitter or crocheter this would be great for any trade show showcasing their work on garment shapes. . This keeps the work in place even when people are searching for shawls and scarves.
