We have a beautiful tree on the street, and we constantly wanted to put a swing on it. The only problem was that the branches weren't quite straight. In fact, they are quite strict, but very strong. So the swing didn't seem like an easy challenge as I'm not a fan of having two different length ropes with the branches I have. Since I had a shelter due to COVID I decided to take a closer look at a swing my kids might enjoy. This swing came and after a simple setup that allowed me to attach the swing to a mounting point and we have been using it every day for the past week, averaging at least half an hour a day with BOTH kids on the pros: the swing is wide enough to fit on, they could accommodate two younger children. In fact, they can lie and not fold much. They also like to sit on it and say that it is comfortable. The material is nice and thick and will easily support a hundred pounds of swinging kids with no noticeable wear. It also dries very quickly. Once we had a thunderstorm until 4:00 p.m. At 5pm we went outside and my kids wanted to use it. It was dry! Happy kids as we used it for the next 30-45 minutes. The foam on the outside is nice and thick too. When assembling the swing I crushed it a bit and I was concerned because you could see where my arm was. It's dense enough to be very good padding though, and when it's under a tarp you really can't tell how tough the metal is underneath. The ropes are long and need padding at the ends to keep them from tearing the canvas above them. However, this can easily be remedied on the buy-side by putting tape, foam, etc. at the end, but it's just something to be aware of. Obviously I'm glad we bought it as it was used daily and asked to use it. several times a day by my children. I think it will last a long time (since we leave it outside) and is a fair price. Both kids love it so much and I think it's worth it.
