Great for anchoring
Saved my stern. I was climbing a tree when my leash got tangled. One of them was on my belt and the tree was too big for my safety line to get around, so I wrapped the belt around the tree and hooked it in. When I unhooked my flipline, one of my spikes came out of the tree as well. If not for the fact that I was hooked on the strap I would have been gone.
