YKK Vislon in Sewing Goods & Supplies
YKK Vislon is quite simply the best plastic zipper. Brass is better, but not always suitable. These zippers are easy to sew in and will last much longer than clothing. The zipper always breaks before the garment, so sew it yourself and keep that expensive coat for a few more years. Cut off both sides of the broken zipper and sew them on at the top. Not too hard. If you have a seamstress, point out Vislon or buy a zipper first and pass it on.
