My original XBOX One PSU was intermittent, so I replaced it with this one. I was immediately surprised at how loud it is compared to the original. The internal fan runs continuously even when the XBOX is not powered on. It gets louder from time to time when the XBOX is on. I hear it through my fridge running in the kitchen next door. It works, but I'll be returning it in the hope that another replacement will run quieter (and preferably not at all when the XBOX is off). *Edit - I canceled my refund request. I got another block and it was even louder than this one. I assume all third party replacement parts have this problem. I mitigated the problem somewhat by moving the brick to my closet. Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer makes OEM replacement parts. I've attached a video to document the sound. Ignore the crackle; this is me walking on the floor. Please note that the XBOX is switched off during the video.
