Review on 💼 Yamaha 10-YVC1000-NA YVC-1000: Wireless Bluetooth NFC Speaker Phone in Black - Enhanced Communication Device by Issac Smart

We purchased a YVC-1000 system and an additional YVC-MIC1000EX to make phone calls to up to 20 participants in our 24 x 20 foot conference room . Based on the first real tests, the setup worked satisfactorily and fully met the specifications published by RevoLabs/Yamaha. The reason I rate his service as satisfactory rather than excellent is because the setup we chose pushed the YVC-1000 to its limits. Nevertheless, the system's performance deserves a full five stars, even under very adverse conditions. The build quality is solid. Both the speaker and the microphones are made of plastic, but they don't look cheap. They have a very pleasing appearance and their black color makes them suitable for any professional office environment. In terms of operation, the speaker works perfectly. The sound of it is loud and clear. The difficulty for us arose from the bad acoustics of the conference room. A continuous and relatively loud noise can be heard from the outlet, combined with the hum of the projector fan. In addition, 15-20 conference participants can create quite a lot of background noise during a call. We placed two microphones in the middle to evenly cover the entire conference room. Callers seated 2 to 4 feet from the microphone will sound crystal clear. If you sit further, you will be heard and understood. Two microphones can pick up voices from any corner of the room. The maximum distance between a conference participant and the microphone in our setup is approximately 11 feet. The sound level is high and the sound clarity is also acceptable. The ideal layout in these conditions would be two additional YVC-MIC1000EX units, but so far we're happy with what we're using now. It is important to note that the system allows you to connect up to five microphones in a daisy chain, all connected and powered using standard interconnect cables (CAT5/6). While the $1,200 price tag can certainly seem daunting, The system's scalability and built-in advanced auto-tuning capabilities justify the cost and make the YVC-1000 an excellent choice for audio conferencing. Solution. UPDATE 10/04/2018: We are still very satisfied with the system. The performance remains very stable and reliable. UPDATE 10/04/2019: One year later and still holding up! :-)
