I really like this nightgown and I'm going to buy another one soon. I got an XL since I am a 34G bra, but, L would probably fit better up top. But the material is so soft and it's perfect for lounging around the house in Florida. I agree with the tending to "pop" out of the top, but again, the nightgown is flowy and roomy. I have had no issues with straps or pieces breaking, or stitching or seaming coming apart, aside from a few stray threads. I have owned this for almost a year now and I wash it with all my other laundry and put it in the dryer.
