Overall, the shoes are very cute. They were a little larger than expected, but that wasn't a huge problem. The main issue was when my daughter wore them to daycare, her teachers told me that the strap wouldn't stay fastened when she walked, which caused her to either trip or lose her shoes frequently. The velcro that was used to secure the strap is not very strong at all, so if your child is still immobile, they'll probably be just fine, but if they're walking or crawling, then you may want to look into something sturdier.
