I can't wear a ring because metal causes itching. Even after washing my hands, my finger still hurts. Another reviewer wrote that the metal was peeling, but I didn't have that. No other sterling silver ring irritates my skin so I assume the description is fake. As for the ring itself, the metal strip is narrow. bright silver metal. The diamond ring sparkled beautifully. The central blue stone wasn't shiny and looked a bit more plastic, but it was a great shade. dark blue but definitely still blue. the size of the blue stone alone is about 0.75" or 1 cm. it is big but i wouldn't say too big. well proportioned in the setting. also the size of the ring is a bit big. it's a beautiful ring. i would wear this design if i could.
