After a few weeks of wearing these boots, the toe of both shoes began to deteriorate. The skin-like material is fully worn away, revealing a white underlayer. My kid came home from school today and the shoe seems even more worn to the point where a hole is inevitable that will expose his flesh to the elements. The boot is attractive but will not stand up to the daily wear of a 5 year old. Really disappointing
