Great for the price, the base really isn't heavy enough to prevent tipping.
I use it for general soldering etc. I was going to attach it to the edge of a table but I knew there was a slight bend that was going to be tricky. It doesn't work when clamped and as others have noted it definitely doesn't stay upright on the base when fully extended, the base just isn't heavy enough. I ended up just putting a strong velcro on the bottom. thing and now it's solid and working great. Very convenient.
