This is a great chair for my kids to sit in and do their homework. The material of the white chair is very flexible, so that my son in particular can "rock” back and forth in his seat to free himself while working. I like how simple the chair is. The design complements any decor, which is very important for a military family that moves frequently. The simple design also makes it easy to assemble and wipe down to keep it clean. This is necessary if there are three children in the house. The design is very similar to the chairs I've seen in the IKEA ad, but the closest is 2 hours away and the shipping costs are high. I appreciated a similar chair that was shipped right to my door, and this chair retails for $10 less than a similar wood-bottomed design from IKEA.
