I have an Audi S5 (last year V8) and I love this car but the seats have lower side bolsters which are too obtrusive. the back of my thighs. It's not about the make/model of the car as many years ago I had a sporty Acura with lower side bolsters which also irritated the back of my leg. I can feel the metal under the padding in the lower side bolsters to allow the foam to compress a bit. Either way it just causes and amplifies a pressure point that bothers me. I wanted a seat cushion that would make it lighter but not make me sit taller because I'm 6ft 2" and almost touched the ceiling in my car. So I looked for a low profile pillow and it seemed to fit well. When I received the pillow it seemed a bit thin but it turned out to be just the right thickness. I put it in the middle of the seat and it seemed to help. But then I pushed it out of the way a bit and it helped more. Then I rolled up the outside edge of the cushion a bit and tucked it into the side gusset of the seat and the little flexing and tucking of the cushion completely smoothed out the irritation! Now with this pillow slightly offset and tucked into the seam edge of the bolster I get the perfect fit. Super comfortable. I love every part of my S5 again!
