I have a bottle of SIC that I bought at a charity auction 3 years ago. I use it on my bike and it's a bit shabby. But apart from a few scratches it's like new. I can say that they keep my water nice and cold. As for hot, I haven't tried it. This new bottle came with a straw cap. It is great. My auction bottle had a screw cap that had to be removed to drink. I bought it for my wife from Santa Claus. I like it so much. Santa brought me a new red bottle.
