So I bought this baby monitor for my newborn. This is my first child too. As a young mother, she worries about her child all the time, especially after we have fed her, she worries when the child vomits. We put this camera next to the child. The camera records activities very well. We can watch the baby from the comfort of our room. And the sound transmission is excellent, very clear. I have to say this camera is a great help for new moms, it calms my anxiety. The only downside is that the battery doesn't last very long, I would highly recommend it to new moms.
