Review on Vie Long 13070 Horse Shaving Handle by Andrea Scoggin

Although I've said it's not what I expected, that doesn't mean it's a bad brush. On the contrary, this is probably a great brush for the right person. My only issue was that the horsehair was a lot softer than I thought it would be. This "spreads out" the brush for my taste. It also took me a lot of effort to get the shaving cream off of it when I was done. The design and quality of the brush is top notch, it just doesn't suit me! TO UPDATE! Well, it just proves that first impressions aren't always the best. Having lived with Vie-Long for a while and used it in various soaps and shaving creams, I have a much higher opinion of this brush. I use Vie-Long more often. Keeping the brush warm (with soap or cream) while you shave is a huge advantage over charging directly from the bowl (like TOBS). I suspect horsehair loves heat because it's not as soft as it was when I first used it.
