So I REALLY wanted to like this product. Even now that I'm correcting this, I'm still trying to be positive and justify my doubts. Me and everyone else on the planet I'm sure have seen these LA Girl Pro Concealers all over YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest. , incredibly bloated. Some of my favorites and/or many other famous accounts have sworn by it and listed it as a travel or death item under some high-end products (like Gucci for makeup). Obviously, since I don't have the self-control, I bought them on impulse. I actually started by buying their trio of color correctors (also available on Amazon), including yellow, green, and orange. It did not work. presented as indicated in the picture: the orange concealer was actually a deeper auburn or desert red, the shade is PERFECT! (if it weren't for the consistency) of the UNDER EYE DARK CORRECTOR FOR MEDIUM AND DARK SKIN TONE, the yellow and green were also more of a neon and disturbing pastel. In any case, all the shades in the trio came out SUPER thin, like they were flowing down my hand, in consistency and completely separated. They were also some of the most difficult products I have ever come across. I've tried three different primers, no primer, the spray fixes between coats, nothing worked. I gave up quite discouraged. A few months later, after watching a few more commercials, I decided to give this one another try. NO. Above all. , it is marked with light ivory. What comes to mind when you think of light ivory? Creamy white, maybe a piano key tint? I have fairly fair skin but was hoping and planning to use it as an under eye highlighter or even just a concealer if that doesn't work. But was it really orange? If a coral and a salmon had a baby and then accidentally dropped it in a mud bath but couldn't really scrub off all the dirt, it would look like this. Second, knowing how runny the first set I bought was, I purposely tried to mix it up in the packaging. I did this by rolling the product with my fingers while still in the tube after removing the plastic wrap. I then opened it up and squeezed out the product and although it didn't come off it was still dripping down my fingers and arm. Third, this product is so thin but somehow very sticky? This contradicts the laws of the known universe. A streak stays in every pore, fine line, crevice and crease you didn't even know you had. Conclusion: This is not a concealer. This is color. By that I mean that it literally serves its purpose as a pigment in its own right. While it wasn't the shade it was advertised, with a different consistency it could have made a great concealer for fair skin and dark eye areas, but like the trio I've previously bought it's not due to the lame consistency so. I'm starting to think someone is replacing my packaging with another product and keeping the one everyone is raving about.
